Contact requests
When you contact us by email, we process the information you send to respond and to manage a potential customer relationship. Do not send unnecessary personal data or confidential technical information by email.
Google Calendar booking
The booking experience on the assessment page is provided through Google Calendar. No connection to Google is made until you open the booking experience or follow the external booking link. Google may then process technical information such as your IP address, browser information and cookies under its own terms.
Google requests at least a name and email address to make a booking. Any additional booking fields are shown before submission. Defense First receives the information submitted with the booking to arrange the meeting, respond to the request and prepare a potential customer relationship. Do not include credentials, keys or confidential network details.
Cookie-free analytics and conversion events
The Umami script loaded from umami.learners.fi records page views and limited events without setting an analytics cookie. The analytics connection opens only on the visitor's first explicit pointer or keyboard interaction, or immediately when the visitor performs a tracked CTA action. Merely opening a page without interacting does not load the analytics service. A conversion event contains only the event name, locale, an Advice, Integrate, Manage or unspecified service interest, and a coarse CTA source: header, mega, hero, comparison, content, footer, floating or assessment.
Core Web Vitals measurement sends only a coarse web_vital event: metric (lcp, inp or cls), rating (good, needs-improvement or poor), page template, viewport class (compact or wide) and locale (fi or en). Raw metric values, URLs or their search parameters, page fragments, message content and user identifiers are not sent as event properties. The browser's Do Not Track preference prevents measurement, connections to the analytics service and event delivery.
Analytics are used to improve website functionality and service journeys. Analytics data are retained only as long as required for this purpose and unnecessary data are deleted periodically.
WhatsApp link
The WhatsApp buttons are external links to wa.me, a WhatsApp/Meta service. Loading a Defense First page does not open that service. If you select a WhatsApp link, your browser connects to WhatsApp/Meta and its privacy terms apply to that visit and to any message you choose to send. The pre-filled text contains only a contact template.
Technical logs
The web server processes standard technical log data, such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamp, to maintain service security and functionality. Defense First website access logs rotate with a maximum retention period of 30 days.
Legal basis, recipients and retention
Contact and booking information is processed to take steps at the visitor's request in preparation for a potential agreement and to manage a legitimate business relationship. In addition to Learners First Oy, information may be processed by hosting, analytics, communications and booking providers required to deliver the service. Information is retained only for as long as the request, a potential customer relationship or a statutory obligation requires.
