30-minute Tailscale assessment

Where are you in your Tailscale journey?

Tell us whether you are considering Tailscale, taking it into production or need an ongoing management model. We route the discussion directly to Advice, Integrate or Manage.

What you get from the discussion

An initial technical scope, not a generic presentation.

Be ready to describe one current access path, the main dependencies and your preferred timeline at a high level.

  1. We identify the access path
Who or what, from which device, to which resource and with which network capability.

  2. We identify essential dependencies
IdP, endpoints, current network, logging and the resource owner.

  3. We assess the next step
Advice, Integrate or Manage — no vague fourth service.

Do not send confidential information. Describe the environment at a high level. Credentials, addresses, keys and detailed network diagrams are handled only through a separately agreed process.

Booking

Show available times when you are ready to open Google Calendar.

The calendar is not loaded automatically. Revealing it connects to Google, and the booking is processed in Google's service.

Fit

The assessment is particularly suitable for these situations.

The first discussion can focus on a technically meaningful problem without a lengthy request form.

Public management port

SSH, RDP or another management service needs to be removed from the public internet.

Broad VPN access

An employee or vendor can see more of the network than the task requires.

Unclear ownership

Approval, removal or review of permissions has no named owner.

New Tailscale environment

The tailnet needs to enter production with explicit policy and a tested governance model.
